Retention of Water or Edema
This is not a serious side effect and vanishes once the dosage is lowered or once the body adjusts to the increase in the Growth Hormone.
Carpal tunnel syndrome
This is mainly a tingling sensation in your palms and fingers, feeling like your fingers are falling asleep. Nerves from your fingers pass trough the carpal tunnel which gets narrower due to water retention and the new growth. The tunnel adapts with time, but before it has the time to do so, HGH users may experience the carpal syndrome. It may occur in beginning 2 or 3 HGH cycles, after that it doesn’t occur again. This symptom is preventable by monitoring the result of taking growth hormone. It is also normally reversible by discontinuing or lowering the dose being taken.
Acromegaly or Gigantism
Being the worst possible side effect, this means an unnatural growth of bone mass and thickening of the skin which is caused by a great excess in growth hormone. Acromegaly naturally occurs in persons that have a pituitary tumor that causes them to release growth hormone without control. With basic common sense, it should be impossible to get acromegaly from purposely taking an excess of growth hormone by sub-cutaneous injection. It is very essential to take blood tests to monitor results. It is also foolish to take a dose much above what has become standard.
